INTRO TO BASIC PISTOL

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

This course is for those who are not familiar with firearm operation, or who may have no experience with firearms. This course is an introduction to basic pistol nomenclature, operation, and its safe & proper employment. Here we outline a solid foundation of firearm and ammunition familiarization, construction, operation, safety, proper handling, and employment of your pistol. This class is 3-hrs in length, includes classroom instruction, targets and range time.

- A revolver, or semi-auto pistol, gun case or holster (.22 cal to .45 cal handgun)
- 100+ rounds of ammunition
- Eye, ear and sun protection
- Govt.-issued ID
- A willingness to learn

Intermediate PISTOL

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

This course is for those who have taken the basic pistol course, or are very familiar with a pistol, and have regularly used a pistol at some point in their life. In this course, we assess your basic firearms foundations and improve upon them to bring your skills to the next level. Students who attend this course will build upon their existing foundation of pistol training, reinforce their fundamentals, and build muscle memory in order to avoid common mistakes, eliminate bad habits, improve accuracy and learn new pistol employment techniques. This class is 3-hrs in length, includes classroom instruction, targets and range time.

- A revolver, or semi-auto pistol, gun case or holster (.22 cal to .45 cal handgun)
- 200+ rounds of ammunition
- Eye, ear and sun protection
- Govt.-issued ID
- A willingness to learn

INTRO TO BASIC RIFLE

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

This course is for those who are new rifle shooters/owners who possess little to no basic rifle experience. This course is an introduction to basic rifle nomenclature, operation and its safe & proper employment. During the Basic course, we outline a solid foundation of firearm and ammunition familiarization, construction, operation, safety, proper handling, and employment of your rifle. Students attending this course seek to build confidence and skill with their particular rifle and desire to learn more about rifle employment in a safe and structured environment. This class is 3-hrs in length, includes classroom instruction, targets and range time.
 

- A rifle, AR platform or bolt actions preferred (.22 cal to .308 cal rifle)

- 100+ rounds of ammunition

- Eye, ear and sun protection

- Govt.-issued ID

- A willingness to learn

Intermediate RIFLE COURSE

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

This course is for those who have taken the basic rifle course, or are familiar with firearms and have used a rifle at some point in their life. In this course, we assess your basic firearms foundations and improve upon them to bring your skills to the next level. Students who attend this course will build upon their existing foundation of rifle training, reinforce their fundamentals, and build muscle memory in order to avoid common mistakes, eliminate bad habits, improve accuracy and learn new rifle employment techniques. This class is 4-hrs in length, includes classroom instruction, targets and range time. All 4 courses are mandatory to attend the APMS level, or "Run & Gun O-Course" courses.

- A rifle, AR platform or bolt actions preferred (.22 cal to .308 cal rifle)

- 200+ rounds of ammunition

- Eye, ear and sun protection

- Govt.-issued ID

- A willingness to learn

TEXAS LICENSE TO CARRY COURSE - (LTC)

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

The LTC course is for those who have taken the basic pistol course, and/or are familiar with handguns and have used a handgun responsibly at some point in their life. This course will cover:

- Weapon & Deadly Force Laws 
- Resolving Disputes in a Non-Violent Manner
- Proper Firearm Storage Methods
- Handgun Proficiency Qualifications

*Membership Not Required.

 

- A semi-auto, or revolver handgun (.22 cal to .45 cal)

- 50 rounds of ammunition (minimum), 100+ recommended

- Eye, ear and sun protection

- Govt.-issued ID

- A willingness to learn
